From dating to relationship how long

At that point, we both decided to keep dating others, as well as each other. We spent the next two months discussing it until we finally found ourselves dating just each other.I feel like I really want to have the talk soon, but at the same time I don't want to rush things.I've fallen for people to quickly in the past and don't want to repeat the same mistake. We're not exclusive, but the day we decided to be 'officially dating' was the same as the day we started a committed relationship.I genuinely enjoyed his company and didn't even realise it.I cried, then I went to his house the next day and told him that I felt exactly that.I'm a LTR girl and I can't just date someone or have a FWB. I had been seeing this guy for about 3-4 months and he asked me to be monogamous at about 2 months (which I already was).We saw each other few times a week, we've met each other's friends, texted and talked everyday.

As soon as we met up in person, there really was no question about whether we were together or not. If there was a question, my aunt cleared that up for us.

However, we had a "discussion" about the fact that he was also dating someone else a week after our first date.

Even though we didn't use the word commitment or relationship in that discussion, we were clearly talking about the level of commitment we each expected from the other.

This was about 2-3 months after we first started spending a lot of time together, and around a month after we started having sex. One night we were just out for coffee, browsing the internet and chatting.

We made a joke about being "Facebook official," and then it turned into an actual question from there.
